Beauty & the Beach Retreat: November 2018 dates coming soon!

This luxurious West Coast adventure resort is the perfect back drop for The Shorter Approach Retreat. Located on a spectacular oceanfront acreage, the resort takes full advantage of the rugged coastline and sandy beach… one of the best locales for beach bootcamp workouts followed by mindful wellness planning.



3:00pm+ Introductions & Intention Setting
Check in at our luxurious oceanfront accommodations. Take in the gorgeous sandy beach and wild Pacific surf.

After check-in we’ll come together as a group, get settled over some light tapas and wine and kick off our wellness weekend with a focused, goal setting discussion. Throughout the evening we’ll get to know each other and build a supportive base to get your juices flowing for a rejuvenating weekend!


8:00am – Outdoor Bootcamp, Breakfast & Yoga: We’ll start the day with a Bootcamp style workout on the beach where we’ll get sweaty and work on cardio and strength. Immediately following, we’ll enjoy a nutritional breakfast in the award-winning Long Beach Lodge Great Room and move into our flow yoga and pilates session.

11:00am – Optional Daytime Activities: We’ve organized several amazing options depending on your interest. Relax, spend some quiet time, or head out to move your body with some active west coast fun. The options are almost endless! Choose a surf or stand up paddle board lesson. Head out on a marine safari. Go for a bike ride along the beach or simply explore downtown Tofino. Schedule a nourishing massage. Take a nature hike or beach run. (Additional fees may apply for optional daytime activities. We’ll coordinate bookings for you.)

3:00pm – Fitness & Nutrition Planning: We’ll reconvene for a deep dive goal setting workshop including fitness and nutrition planning guidelines, proven techniques and tips to guide you in achieving your short and long term health goals.

6:00pm – West Coast Dinner: As a group we will raise a glass and enjoy the finest, healthful west coast cuisine with a menu designed just for us by the Chef at the Long Beach Lodge. Optional outdoor hot tub party for those with energy left over after dinner!


8:30am – Beach Run/Walk, Yoga & Stretch: We’ll start our beautiful morning with  a sunrise run along the legendary Chesterman Beach, followed by a pilates inspired yoga stretch as we digest the wellness planning work of the previous day and set the tone for the day.

9:45am – Nourishment & Implementation Planning: After our beach run / stretch, we’ll take time to nourish our bodies and get down to implementation planning to help you create the plan you need to succeed when you go home! Together, we’ll talk accountability and create your personalized take-away plan including specific strategies for dealing with the roadblocks and traps that life sometimes serves up. You will solidify your commitments and firm up an actionable plan to follow towards your goals.

12:00pm – Resort Check Out and Optional Afternoon Activities
Travel back to reality with a smile on your face and a nourishing plan in hand. Life is good!
